About Quilting101

Hi my name is Jen. As you may have guessed, I love to quilt! I started this website in 2005 to help beginners and all other enthusiasts. The process of quilting can be a little confusing sometimes, and I hope that my how to make a quilt section and the other tips on this website helps simplify it all.

I am originally from Australia but now live in Bali, Indonesia with family. Now that my little boys are older, I am hoping to be able to spend a little bit more time working on some unfinished projects and keeping you updated. There are some amazing fabric stores here, so one of my next projects is going to be a batik quilt created using traditional handmade fabric woven by local Balinese women.

Over the years I have received so many lovely emails from people showing me their work and thanking me for tips from my page. This is my favorite part of running this website!!! Now I have created a proper quilt gallery and I would love for you to upload and share your creations with everyone in this section and not just me. Once a month I will pick out my favorite and pop it on my favourits page.
